R&B SINGER RORY TO LAUNCH NEW TALK SHOW “THE RORY SHOW” March 23rd, 2009

NEW YORK, March 9- R&B Singer Rory, formerly of the successful weekly web show The Rory & Summer Show (2007), will launch his own brand new talk show Monday March 23rd, 2009 through Cake, Postponed Productions. “The Rory Show” will premiere on www.theroryshow.com at 7pm, and new episodes will be posted twice a week every Monday and and Friday at 7pm.

Each episode of The Rory Show will run roughly 10 minutes and feature an unprecedented level of audience participation for a talk show. “What we wanted to do was somehow cross the fun candidness of video blogging with the content structure and regularity of a talk show,” said Rory. “The most important thing to me, though, was finding a way to include the audience and make it more of a two-way conversation rather than me self-indulgently blabbing for ten minutes.” In addition to featuring regular special guests and co-hosts, a large portion of The Rory Show will be dedicated to answering viewer-submitted questions, comments, and topics of discussion. The Rory Show comes as a spin-off to Rory’s successful “Live Blogs” featured on TheRoryBlog.com, which has been live since September 2006. Rory then co-hosted the successful The Rory & Summer Show with Summer Key, which ran from May 2007 through September 2007, and still produces recurring specials such as December’s “The Rory & Summer Show New Years Special.” Key is rumored to be a regular guest on upcoming episodes of The Rory Show.

Rory is also currently in the studio working on his first full album of original material as well as an EP of covers. He recently released his first single, “Missin Us,” for which a music video will premiere at the end of the month on The Rory Show.
