Why is it such a thing to hate Valentine's Day?

I mean, of course it's obvious why one might not enjoy it so much if they're alone on Valentine's Day. But it's become such a thing to be anti-Valentine's Day that at this point, there's really nothing anti about it because you're just conforming to the large group of people who love to talk about how they hate Valentine's Day. There's nothing original about it.

And really, why HATE Valentine's Day? Look at it as a celebration of love. Love is good, right? Love comes in many forms that aren't necessarily romantic. But I suppose people get some sort of enjoyment being so into HATING Valentine's Day. So I wont try to stop them.

I don't hate Valentine's Day. I enjoy it a great deal.
